Our projects
Education
For over 20 years Sameem Orphan Care has been committed to promoting education and providing opportunities with support to hundreds of young children.
Give a person a fish and it will be food for one day, teach the person to fish, and they will have food for the rest of their life.
Lao Tzu
The United Nations human rights charter, Articles 28 and 29, set out the rights of all children, stressing the importance of education.
We have assisted with full-time education from basic primary education to higher academic university levels with non-governmental institutions.
Poverty harms children’s well-being in various ways and stunts their development, reinforcing the urgent need for education as a pathway to dignity, independence, and opportunity.
Social and Environmental Responsibilities Programme
In Islam, as appointed guardians on earth, humans have a monumental responsibility to promote, protect and preserve the natural balance of the environment.
The organisation advocates and teaches the ethical discipline required to fulfil human responsibilities in our relationship with the environment, promoting the sustainable use of natural resources that have been entrusted to humankind.
Humans have a responsibility towards preserving the environment for the future generations and will thus be held accountable for the consequences of our actions.
