There are wonderful inspiring successful stories in the history of SOC that we share, however. there are also numerous sad stories which are rarely brought to attention of the struggling lives of the destitute and unfortunate.

Wheelchair repair
A person with a disability has become self-sufficient by establishing a wheelchair repair business with support from SOC, including participation in the technical skills programme for people with disabilities.

Self-sufficiency
Numerous wheelchairs, sewing machines and various forms of equipment have been provided by SOC over the years. The talented sisters with disabilities were provided with 1 electric wheelchair, 2 non-electric wheelchairs, and a sewing machine to assist them in their journey towards financial self-sufficiency and empowerment.
